Partnership Announcement
Kampala, Uganda, 27th October, 2022…. First Pharmacy Limited and the Uganda Medical Association (U.M.A) have signed an exclusive partnership agreement, that includes a jersey sponsorship during the prestigious Corporate Games Uganda (C.G.U) 2022-2023.
Upon completing the signing, Ahmed Yusuf, Managing Director of First Pharmacy Ltd. stated that, “Our strong relationship with Uganda Medical Association is one that we greatly value. Speaking during the partnership signing ceremony, the Vice Chairperson, U.M.A Health and Wellness Subcommittee Dr. Lubega Robert said, “As U.M.A, we are extremely excited to partner with First Pharmacy. Following the demise of young doctors from lifestyle diseases, the U.M.A leadership looked into capitalizing on the great potential of helping their team lead healthy lives through promoting participation in sports and working with the sports community to advance health for all. The U.M.A will be participating in; netball, football, volleyball, athletics, basketball, chess, cycling, target shooting, darts, Zumba and several fun games that commenced in July 2022 to May 2023, that are scheduled for every first Sunday of the month
The Corporate Games Uganda is run by a registered Sports management company that organizes sports activities for corporate staff in Uganda with the main objective of, “Inspiring Corporates through Sports”.
