First Pharmacy Partners with Educate an Orphan Uganda for the 2026 Annual Educate an Orphan Run

At First Pharmacy, we believe that strong communities are built through access to quality healthcare, education and opportunity. While healthcare remains at the heart of what we do, our responsibility extends beyond our pharmacies. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, we support initiatives that create lasting value for the communities we serve across Uganda.
In line with this commitment, we are proud to partner with Educate an Orphan Uganda (EAO) as a sponsor of the 2026 Annual Educate an Orphan Run, a flagship fundraising initiative that supports access to quality education for vulnerable and underprivileged children across Uganda.
Our sponsorship was officially handed over during a ceremony held at our Head Office, marking the start of our partnership in support of this year’s run. The occasion reaffirmed our shared commitment to investing in opportunities that improve lives through education.
Over the years, the Annual Educate an Orphan Run has grown into one of Uganda’s leading fundraising initiatives for education, bringing together corporate organisations, schools and communities in support of a common cause. The 2026 Annual Educate an Orphan Run will contribute towards the continued development of the Educate an Orphan School, a long-term initiative aimed at expanding access to quality education for vulnerable children.
At First Pharmacy, we recognise that healthier communities are built through investments in both healthcare and education. Supporting initiatives such as the Annual Educate an Orphan Run reflects our belief that access to education creates opportunities, strengthens communities and contributes to sustainable national development.
This partnership is part of our broader commitment to creating positive social impact beyond healthcare. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on working with organisations that share our values and our vision of building stronger, healthier and more resilient communities across Uganda.
We thank Educate an Orphan Uganda for the opportunity to partner on this important initiative and look forward to the positive impact the 2026 Annual Educate an Orphan Run will have on the lives of children, their families and communities across the country.
